Good Morning All!

I haven't been around much recently.  Very few Facebook, Twitter or Blog updates from me since Christmas i'm afraid.  Sorry.  This is because I have had a lot going on.  I moved house (at last yay!), I was poorly (boo!) and all the while we have been up to our ears in new customers here (yay again).  But i'm back, i'm feeling better and I have been doing a lot of thinking.  I have some wonderful ideas for 2015 and I really can't wait to put those into practice.  It is such an exciting time in our little business, in the whole industry.  At last (after years and years of pleading from us here at JB) Grooms are being more adventurous.  They have broken out of their brocade waistcoat, ruche cravat prisons and looking towards REAL alternatives.

2014 is the year for being different.  It is the year to choose not to wear a patterned waistcoat, it is the year to not wear ivory, to not match the colour scheme (shock!!), to wear bow-ties, to wear tweed, to wear corduroy trousers or a pork pie hat at a jaunty angle.  Above all it is the year to be you and for you to be awesome! 

And do you know what awesome Grooms wear for their weddings?

I do.

It is Burgundy.   Yes Awesome Grooms Wear Burgundy.    I know this is a fact.  I've met lots of awesome Grooms.

Oxford Standard:

Hire Price: 2.Piece Suit (jacket & trouser only) £80.00

This traditional morning suit is the most classical of all morning attire. This pure wool herringbone regular fitting* morning tail suit is a timeless favorite. This classical wedding outfit is usually worn with a morning striped trousers and top hat. In 2014 The Oxford will be available in two colours Navy – A dark navy, 100% pure wool herringbone fabric. Black – A black, 100% pure wool herringbone fabric. The Oxford is NOT available with a matching waistcoat but instead is worn with a selection of ‘Wedding’ waistcoats, available in a wide selection of colours.
