Ean & Kerry's - Rocking, Electric, Luxurious Wedding!

Featured Jack Bunney Grooms - Real Weddings

We have wonderful customers here at JB and we are very grateful to them for choosing us to be a part of their wedding. In some cases these clients travel for literally 100's of miles on various occasions, just so they can be a client of Jack Bunneys and we are so overwhelmed by their dedication and loyalty. Ean and Kerry are clients just like that. They live near Liverpool and had to travel to Essex three times for Ean's suit, and we are eternally grateful, thank you.

So here is the story of Ean and Kerry's rocking, electric, luxurious wedding:

Jack Bunneys:
Ean, congratulations on your recent wedding! It all looks incredible! I would imagine it took a lot of planning? Was you involved in the planning at all?

Ean:
Thank you. I had my duties! Suits, DJ, Set-list, that was enough for me!

 Jack Bunneys:
That sounds like the perfect list for us guys! Did you enjoy the planning?

 Ean:
I really enjoyed picking the DJ and making the set list, our DJ was Billy Boswell off the 80’s TV show Bread. Both Kerry and I, and our friends are really into music and go to a lot of festivals so I chose the best DJ I could find. I spent months doing the playlist. I wanted the night to be a massive party atmosphere I asked for the buffet to be served on trays so it was non-stop music all night!

Jack Bunneys:
Ha! Billy Boswell! Amazing! So other than the D.J. and set-list all you had left was the suits! So why us?

 Ean:
I googled bespoke wedding suits and as soon as I clicked on the Jack Bunneys link I knew straight away I would find something on the site. I live in St Helens near Liverpool and after seeing the suits I knew I had to travel to have one but I would have travelled where ever for the right suit!

Jack Bunneys:
Wow, thank you Ean. So did you enjoy coming to JB?

 Ean:
I loved the process. I chose the Harrogate suit for me. For me how I look is very important and what mattered to me was that I looked timeless. I wanted to look back at the photos and look like a classic gent. Looking fashionable didn’t matter, as fashions change and get dated, class is permanent, fashion is temporary. The look I achieved with the suit was looking like I dressed from an era. I travelled down to Essex 3 times in total and loved every minute of it. For me this was part of the wedding build up, part of the excitement. The service I was given was world class. The advice I was given, the way I was dressed and shown how to dress was invaluable, I was even shown how to put braces on correctly and then how to undress! I even had a shirt made that fit like a glove, finding shirts is hard for me as I have a size 16 neck and the body that would into a size 14, loved the process of this too. The shirt fit perfect.

Jack Bunneys:
Thank you Ean, we enjoyed having you here. It was our pleasure. So the wedding day itself! Was it everything you imagined?

Ean:
The day was amazing and everything was perfect. I had no nerves, nothing I was just looking forward to it so much. It was such a good day, I still have people texting saying it was one of the best weddings they have been to. Stood at the altar I couldn’t wait to see Kerry, she looked stunning. The day itself seemed to go so fast.

Jack Bunneys:
That does sound amazing! It does go so fast, doesn't it? Did you try to take time to enjoy the day?

Ean:
Fast and perfect in every way. I couldn’t believe where the time went. Whenever I am somewhere and I’m enjoying it I always take a minute out to myself and sit back and take it in. I did this during the meal, everyone had had a drink and the atmosphere was electric. My advice to anyone getting married is enjoy it, live it and realise you are there and what’s happening because before you know it it’s over.

Jack Bunneys:
That sound advice, Ean. Everything went well? The suit did its job?

 Ean:
The suits were amazing. When you look good, you feel good. It was strange to have clothing that actually fit for the first time. I wasn’t just the suits, it was the shirt I had made and the accessories you advised, I had a shirt made with a collar bar,a black and white polka dot tie, a silver tie bar, silver and black onyx cuff links and pocket watch. I knew how I wanted to look but looked better with your advice. You even advised me on shoes, Barker Rosewood Nunthorpe brogues, the whole thing pieced together was fab.
It was all perfect! We are still buzzing about it, it was 3 weeks ago and people are still talking about it!

Jack Bunneys:
It looks like you chose all the right suppliers for you, any suppliers who you would say deserve special recognition?

Ean:
The DJ, the photographer and the staff at the Belle Epoque The DJ Nick Campbell, the dance floor was rocking. I gave him a set list which was in no order whatsoever and he re arranged and played it. When ever I went to him and asked for a song, it was on the next. He made the night perfect. Jason Howard the photographer was amazing, I’ve been to weddings that felt like a photo shoot and this was the total opposite. Jason was with us from 9:30am and left us at 22:00. He said on our first meeting that he didn’t want us to feel like he was a photographer but a good friend with a good camera and that is exactly how we felt. We aren’t posers and asked him to capture the day by taking natural shots of people enjoying themselves and he certainly did that. The staff at the Belle couldn’t do enough to help. All I had to do was look up and a member of staff would be at my aid. Fantastic venue, everything we asked was done with no hesitation.

Jack Bunneys:
So as a guy who has now been there and done it! What would your advice be to future grooms?

Ean:
Don’t panic, don’t get nervous enjoy the day and make sure that you take a minute to take it in and realize what’s happening as it goes so fast.

Jack Bunneys:
That is wonderful advice Ean.  Thank you for taking the time for this interview and thank you for featuring on the Bunney Blog as a Jack Bunney Featured Groom.

A Huge Thank You & Congratulations!!!!  to both Ean and Kerry.
