2014 - Men's Wedding Fashion - Trends - What 'Will' happen in 2014
A few days ago I wrote a post about what I would 'Like' to see happen in 2014 (in terms of mens wedding suit fashion). You can read that post here: Clicky This post featured some of my favourite things that I personally would love to see more of in 2014. These include things like : Double Breasted Suits, Different Coloured Suits & Bow Ties. However as much as I would like to see these things become popular in 2014, I know that some of these things will remain 'niche' or will become popular in 2015 or even beyond. So what will actually be popular in 2014? Here are my predictions:
1. Three Piece Suits
3.Piece Lounge suits have been THE most popular style of suit since 2010 and I cannot see a dramatic decline in this trend. I would expect the majority of wedding suits in 2014 to feature a matching waistcoat.
2. Blue Suits.
Blue suits have been the most popular colour of wedding suit since 2011 and was the predominate colour in 2012. 2013 has seen this trend continue, although not the dominant colour. I would expect blue to continue to be popular throughout 2014.
3. U-Shaped Waistcoats:
Low-Buttoning U-Shaped waistcoats have always been exceptionally popular for Jack Bunneys, but over the last two years, it has been our most popular style of waistcoat and I expect that trend to continue in 2014.
4. Slim - Everything
The trend overt the last few years has been slim. Slim suits, slim trousers, slim shirt, slim tie, slim everything! I see no reason whilst this trend will not continue.
Pocket watches, Cufflinks, Tie-Bars, Tie-Pins, Collar Bars, Collar Clips , Pocket Squares, Boutonnières, Arm Bands and Braces. 2013 has been the year of the accessories and this will continue throughout 2014.
