Sneak Peek - New Hire Range 2013 - The York

Today we are proud to announce our latest hire range for 2013.

This brand new hire range will be called 'The York'

This new hire range is designed for those weddings with a more casual DIY/Vintage theme.  They are made from soft lightweight fabrics, in a softer pallet of colours.  They are slim line lounge suits that are available as a 3.piece (with matching waistcoat) and also available with pure wool traditional plain wedding waistcoats in both single and double breasted.

These new ranges will also compliment perfectly the country tweed check suits which Jack Bunney's sell as made-to-measure Groom's suits.  With the country tweed waistcoats being available to hire for the rest of the party.

This new hire range will be available in two soft pallet colours.  A Chocolate Brown & A light Blue.

Both fabrics are of the highest possible quality.  The brown fabric is super-lightweight and made of the finest super 100's pure wool.  The light blue fabric is made from lightweight mohair & wool from Vitale Barberis.

This new hire range is a Slim Line fit.

This new range will be available with a selection of waistcoats to hire:

This is the first time that a 'Wedding Suit Hire' range has been specifically designed for the popular vintage/DIY/relaxed style of wedding.

Full professional photographs will be available towards the end of the year and new brochures etc. featuring this new style will be available early 2013.

2013 - A new concept in wedding suit hire. Bespoke/Hire (*updated in 2014)

In 2013 Jack Bunneys will continue to revolutionise the world of formal wedding suits in the U.K.
Over the last 5 years Jack Bunneys have been at the cutting edge of the formal wear business in the U.K. always designing the most desirable wedding suits on the market.   This revolution will continue with a whole new concept in wedding suit hire, we are calling this new concept Bespoke Hire.

Bespoke Hire will integrate our bespoke (made-to-measure) department with our hire department to an even greater degree than ever before.

Bespoke Hire will allow the Groom to have an extraordinary suit made just for himself.  Whilst also allowing the rest of the Groom's party to truly co-ordinate.

This new concept is not just matching ties or cravats.  (We have always offered a custom cravat and tie option in our hire department).  This concept will be a true integration.

How does it work?

Well we have designed a new range of hire suits, which will be a new slim-line lounge suit available in two incredible high quality lightweight fabrics.

We have also designed two made-to-measure suits, which will compliment these new ranges perfectly.  Although these suits will be considerably different (to the hire suits) and like no other wedding suit you have ever seen before.

When a Groom has this luxurious and unique wedding suit made-to-measure for himself, he can HIRE waistcoats which will be made from the same fabric as his suit.

These waistcoats will only be available to hire to the Grooms who choose to have this exclusive suit made-to-measure.  And will compliment the new hire ranges perfectly.

Your wedding party will then be perfectly coordinated, although the Grooms party will be hiring and the Groom will have a perfect, exclusive, unique made-to-measure suit.

Pictures will be published once this new concept is ready to be launched.

Wedding Suits likes and dislikes - Time for some Likes

After yesterdays fun of the dislikes,  it is time to get down to the real fun of what actually do the guys at Jack Bunneys really like to see in a wedding suit.

   Is it the same thing that you would expect? or similar taste to you own?

There are some pretty obvious omissions, no tail suits, no fancy waistcoats, no cravats and no top hats.

Wedding Suit Likes and Dislikes . Some what controversial ..maybe

We have never been ones for holding back our opinions.  If you come to our shop here and ask one of our staff a straight question, the answer will always be honest and equally straight.
We have been in the 'Wedding' industry for a long time and seen many style, fashion changes.  Some of these fashions have been quite honestly not to our taste.  I am sure there are lot's of people out there who disagree with our list of dislikes and I am sure there are plenty who will agree.  The only thing I can say with any confidence, is that at present these are the personal preferences of Jack Bunney's and not a reflection of the industry as a whole.



Dislikes:
1. White / Cream Suits (ie. Liverpool F.C. Cup Final Suits)  - This has to top the list of dislikes, for obvious reasons.

2.  Nehru collared suits - (As worn by Gazza.  More 90's madness.)

3. Velvet Jackets -  (Popular in the 90's but surely a little too Wonka?)

4.  Spencer Jackets & cummerbunds - (What 80's sophistication was all about.) 

5. Coloured evening suits - ( dumb and dumber.)

6. Anything with embroidery. - (Think Tom Hanks in the film Big)

7.  Suits with shorts. - (not for a wedding, I don't care how hot you get) 

8.  Colonel Kentucky Bow Ties: (not finger lickin good)

9.  Back less waistcoats.

10.  Excessive wedding waistcoat patterns.

Ok so that is just a bunch of dislikes!! Well the likes are to follow, tomorrow.  

2013 - Wedding Suit Hire

Well we are coming towards the end of the wedding season proper.  And 2012 has proven to be another record-breaking year for JB.  We have been one of the trusted suppliers for SO many wonderful weddings this year!!
Our attentions have now turned to booking for 2013.  It seems our services are now in more demand than ever and we are taking on a huge amount of bookings for our 'Hire' service in 2013.

I would like to remind any of our potential customers for 2013 to please book VERY early to avoid disappointment.
